Rocmile is a mileage logbook for iPhone that records your drives automatically and keeps everything on your phone: no account, no servers, free forever.
Short description
Rocmile notices when you drive, records the route and builds the mileage logbook that self-employed people need at tax time. Swipe right for business, left for personal. Drives, places and receipts never leave the iPhone: there is no account, no server and no analytics.
Long description
Every kilometre driven for work is a tax deduction, but most people lose them: they forget to write drives down, lose the gas receipts and reconstruct the year in April. Rocmile does the bookkeeping in the background. It detects drives with the iPhone's motion and location sensors, draws each route on the map and asks a single question with a swipe: business or personal.
At the end of the year it builds the logbook as PDF or CSV: date, route, distance and purpose for every business drive, the business-use percentage of the car and the official per-kilometre or per-mile rate. Gas, service and parking receipts are scanned and read on the device.
Rocmile is built around privacy. It has no sign-up and no servers that receive user data; the App Store privacy label reads "Data Not Collected". Backups go only where the user chooses, such as their own iCloud Drive.
The app is free forever with no limit on drives. An optional Pro subscription for busier work is planned.
